In Loving Memory My Sweet Little Girl 9/8/08 - 2/16/11..Lilbit had come down with "Pyrometra" an infection in the female organs. So i took her into Animal Medical Center of Brooksville Dr. Karen Taylor-Sorensen suggested that a spay be performed immediately as it was the best course of action. She felt the dog would be on her feet good as new within 24 hours. I had planned to breed LilBit and hearing this was unsettling for me but i did not want to lose my friend. I told the Doctor to do it..I wanted the best for my little girl. After the surgery I received a call from the Doctor. It was good news everything had went fine and after an overnight stay in recovery I would be able to pick her up. When I called the following morning I was informed by a tech that my sweet little girl was dead. Several hours later she informed me thet upon discovering the death she was puzzled. She examined the dog and found that a suture had slipped on a artery. So basically my little girl had laid there and bled to death overnight at this clinic.
